Summary - The Account Representative performs a variety of duties in the areas of sales, account management and office administration. Provides exceptional customer service, pursues new business and manages existing accounts and projects as assigned and ensures clients derive maximum value from our services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Include the following items and other duties may be assigned.

· Provide excellent customer service to account base

· Call on and sell to independent gas station owners and larger chain entities

· Responsible for managing assigned accounts

· Creating accurate work orders for our customers

· Scheduling services and reviewing completed work orders for any follow up action.

· Make occasional visits to customer sites

· Attend, setup, and work trade shows annually (usually 2-3/year)

· Responsible for maintaining an accurate, up-to-date customer data base

· Provide our service technicians with the necessary information to successfully complete the job.

· Interact with the other Account Representatives to create the technicians dispatch schedule

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • College Business degree a plus
  • 1-3 years of administrative office and bookkeeping experience

Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of customers. Strong analytical skills are a must. Ability to research projects/jobs as requested and organize and report relevant information. Ability to work independently and accomplish a variety of concurrent tasks on a day-to-day basis in a timely, organized, and professional manner with appropriate follow-up

Computer Skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software packages
